Our Gel Packs are filled with a non-toxic mix of gel and water. The gel is considered non-toxic and food safe. If a gel back leaks, you can simply wash it off the packaging or your hands. You can drain the gel packs in a kitchen sink or down the toilet and it will not interfere with plumbing or cause harm to the environment. It is recommended to dilute with a litter water. If you plan to dispose of it in a garden, it is highly recommended to dilute it with water. Alternatively, you can re-use them for a picnic or in a lunch box.
